Is taking Science Mandatory after 10th? 

No, it is Absolutely Not.

But in our city, since my childhood (50 years before) I saw the craze for taking science, whatever it might be the status of students. Whether it is possible for them or not. Even they can't explain their inability.

As a result some get success but majority don't. 

Directly or indirectly most of the parents are forcing them to take science. Sometimes, they compare with others. Even they express their dreams on the children. Not only that the parents are suffering some old concepts also, that, from science one can move to different categories.

Unfortunately, most of them don't confess that they are forcing.

Sometimes students are following the other students to remain the same group as they all take science.

Some teachers are there who also insist on them. 

As a result of this, talent is suppressed.

In any school, if there are nine sections for science, only one or two sections will be for commerce and humanities.

This information tells us everything.

So craze for taking science is prevailing. 

Actually most of the parents cannot accept the exact situation of their children. 

According to them, all can get success in science.

Without science, what will be the future?

In general stream how can one get success?

But in reality it is the passion that wins. It is the desire that gets success.
